When in urgent need of a snack, make your own crisps! Easy and relatively healthy.
What you need:
Pasta – 2 handfuls (for example fusilli, farfalle, penne or macaroni)
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
Herbs and spices
Cook your pasta a few minutes less than it says on the packaging.
I have used fusilli (instead of 10 minutes, I cooked them for 7 minutes), but I especially like to use lentil pasta, because you know… protein!
Instead of the prescribed 4 minutes, I cook them for 3 minutes.
Drain the pasta, add the olive oil and seasoning of your choice. Mix well.
Place the pasta in your air fryer and fry for about 5 minutes at 160°C.
Toss the pasta and fry again for about 3 minutes at 200°C.
Depending on the pasta and the air fryer, you will need to cook or fry them a little bit longer or less. Experiment!
Seasoning suggestions:
Salt, garlic powder, paprika powder, chili powder, oregano, nutritional yeast, etc.
Enjoy!
